How does it feel to be a Varurien dinghy sailor?

You are sailing a dinghy designed by the French sailor and architect –the Vaurien, recognized as a World Sailing International Class.
Vaurien dinghy is truly for everyone.
Is there any typical Vaurien sailor? Describing one could be a challenge, as the boat’s stability on the water and ease of maneuvering make it suitable for adults with kids, beginners, experienced sailors, and even youngsters. Most importantly, sailing the Vaurien is an experience of pure happiness -on the water with your crew member and the wind in your sails.

ABOUT YC LIMAR

YACHT CLUB LIMAR –RÁZTOCKÁ ZÁTOKA, as one of the most successful slovak yacht clubs has proudly been a part of the slovak sailing community for the past 20 years.LIMAR equals „Safe haven“! Does it sound welcoming to you? This is how the members of our diverse community feel about our club. The members are adults and children, experienced sailors but also newcomers. Their passion for sport is a principle objective, but they also take part in social gatherings, thus connecting sailing community in different areas of life.

Sailing season encompasses more than just being on the water. It involves coordinating a diverse array of events and activities, such as regattas, sailing lessons, and various social gatherings, throughout all twelve months of the year.

Through collaborative endeavors, we strive to cultivate environmental awareness and foster the growth of young sailors.
Our aim is not only to assist them in becoming successful athletes but also to contribute to their personal development, nurturing them into intelligent, educated, and valuable individuals within our society.

ACCOMMODATION IN
MARINA LIPTOV RESORT

Marina Liptov is located in the village of Bobrovník, right on the banks of the Liptovská Mary. Marina Liptov was built in 2016 as the first ever public marina in Slovakia with professional facilities for lovers of boats and water sports. In addition, the center offers quality services of accommodation, camping, restaurant, wellness and fitness centers.
The big ambition for the next year 2024 is to build quality conditions in the center for the development of yachting in the region, children’s interest groups and the overall popularization of this sport as an accessible activity for everyone.
